Sarah - Race Director

  • Used to Chair a Wheelchair Basketball Club

  • Watched the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles (Aunt lives there)

  • Appeared on the front cover of Cali Camp Calendar doing the long jump (American summer camp)

Gary, Zamu - Events Director

Been involved from the start and organises the site set up on the day and liaises with everyone setting up beforehand. Ensures we keep safely within the allowed limits on Lemon Quay.

Keith Wotton - Course Director

Involved with the ROC 5k since its inception, involved with Truro Running Club and also busy running an architect practice Keith Wotton Architectural Services

Emma - Events Manager

3 fun facts:

  • When I was younger I did tap dancing and once performed in a West End theatre.

  • I once won a competition to design a poster for Brentford Football Team and got to go on the pitch at half time and meet all the players. I’ve also held the FA Cup.

  • I have visited over 20 countries in Europe, Africa and Central America.

Darren - VIP Volunteer

  • Once had a job washing soil

  • Favourite foods are pizza and Haribo

  • In his spare time Darren is an avid photographer and board game enthusiast

Carol - Part time Trust Fundraiser for United Response

Training Guru and also part time fitness trainer

Lions Club – Registration

The Lions Club has been involved since the start and make sure that every runner is registered correctly, giving out race numbers and making sure people have their t-shirts and are all set to run.

Rotary Club – Marshalling

The Rotary Club have been involved since the start and provide the bulk of marshals around the route ensuring that the runners are kept safe and making sure they go the right way.
